The Affiliate Dream Plugin is a WordPress plugin that allows you to add offers from different retailers on your product review posts. Let’s say you wrote a review about a popular smartphone. Using TAD Plugin you can add links to offers from Amazon, Ebay, Bestbuy, Walmart, and Newegg for that smartphone. You help the reader compare prices from these five big retailers and when he buys from one of them you get a nice affiliate commission! Here’s an example below (Yes, I know the price comparisons are pretty ridiculous, but it’s just for demonstration purposes).

The plugin is not limited to just listing physical products. You can also use it to promote digital products from Clickbank, JVZoo, and Commission Junction. Clickbank is supported by the plugin, but you have to add JVZoo and CJ affiliate links using the “Custom” option.

Although you can promote digital products, I think this plugin is better suited for selling physical products like electronics. I say this because in order to get the most out of the Affiliate Dream Plugin, you need to be able to list different offers for the same product.

It’s easier to find a TV that is offered on Amazon, Ebay, Bestbuy, Walmart, and Newegg than it is to find an ebook that is offered by Clickbank, JVzoo, and CJ. Digital products are usually only offered in one marketplace. And even if by some strange coincidence you do find the same exact eBook on all three networks, the price of the eBook will be the same.

However, if you get really creative you could use it for digital product reviews. For example, instead of reviewing a product and then using the plugin to list competing offers, you could review a digital product and then list “Similar Products” using the Affiliate Dream Plugin. You’d have to test that out though.

Personally, I think writing a review for a physical product will work better because when a person finishes the review he’ll likely want to buy the product immediately. And having a quick comparison chart with one really low priced offer will be enough to get him to purchase the product.

What I Don’t Like About This Plugin

It offers you limited control over the offer button. The WP plugin doesn’t give you the option to show the full affiliate offers window from the start. Instead, the reader has to click the button in order to see all the offers. Take a look at the default display in this image:

As you probably know, the more actions prospects have to undertake on your site the less conversions you’ll end up with. Less conversions = less money in your pocket!

My next gripe is that you can’t control the alignment of the button. This is not a big deal for mobile users because the button is centered on mobile. However, on a desktop PC, it’s permanently fixed to align right. You can’t change it. I tried using style commands to center it or move it to the left, but that didn’t work. It’s a bit frustrating that I can’t choose the side I want the offer button to appear.

TAD Plugin is a reliable plugin that can help you promote affiliate products on your review blog. I believe that its main strength lies in its ability to list competing offers from Amazon, Ebay, Bestbuy, Walmart, and Newegg. This plugin was made with price comparisons in mind, so if you reviewed a TV, chances are good that you’ll find it on all 5 retailer sites listed at different prices. You can also add the item ID  into the plugin and TAD will load the item, image, price, and link for you. All you have to do is add your affiliate link.

While you can get creative and use the plugin for selling digital products as well, that will require more work and testing. Digital products are usually found in one or two marketplaces and most of the time the price will be the same, so you can’t really compare them. However, you can review a digital product and then use the TAD Plugin to list similar products in that niche.

Having said all that, I recommend the Affiliate Dream Plugin. It makes adding and listing affiliate offers easy and it can save you a ton of time.
